Win and P3 Highlight Weekend for Bartone Bros. Racing with GetSpeed
MISANO, Italy (July 19, 2026) – Bartone Bros. Racing with GetSpeed drivers Anthony Bartone and Aurélien Panis drove their Mercedes-AMG GT3 to victory in the Silver Cup class during Sunday's GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup race at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.
The duo improved upon their third-place finish from Saturday's Race 1, claiming the top step of the podium in Race 2 to close out a strong weekend at the Adriatic coast circuit.
Panis qualified the No. 6 Mercedes on pole position in the Silver Cup class for Sunday's one-hour sprint race. The French driver made a clean start and maintained his class lead throughout the opening stint before handing the car to teammate Bartone. Precision pit work and sharp strategy from the GetSpeed crew ensured the team retained the lead following the mandatory pit stop.
Bartone navigated a restart during his stint but kept his composure, delivering strong pace to bring the car home for the class victory. The duo finished 13th overall in the 42-car field.
"This is what you dream of," Bartone said. "This is what you work so hard for every year, every weekend and every test. We did the easy part, the fun part – driving around. We owe this to the guys at the shop, Adam (Osieka, team owner), the engineers and my teammate for a great job. Aurélien did the hard part getting us on pole; I just got to drive a Sunday cruise. We had a good car all weekend – P3 yesterday and improved for the win today."
Panis, who set the pace in qualifying, echoed the sentiment.
"It was a mega race," Panis said. "I drove to pole this morning. The car was flying all weekend, to be honest. Big thanks to the team for a great job this weekend, and Anthony did a great job too. It was a nice race to win, and I'm also happy to be on the podium yesterday."
The victory marks a significant milestone for Bartone Bros. Racing with GetSpeed as the team continues its campaign in the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup with Magny Cours up next, July 31-Aug. 2.
The team thanks its sponsors: Red Line Oil, NGK Spark Plugs, Roger Dean Chevrolet, Talon Air, and Mercedes-AMG Team GetSpeed.
